Focuse on the development of advanced and sustainable fibers/yarns/textiles and functional post-treatment technologies, such as core-sheath filaments, silk modifications, actuation yarns, radiation-control fabrics, and flame retardant textiles, to allow consumers enjoy secured and changeable life and reduce resource consumption of fashion products. 

Smart Biopolymers and Green Nanotechnology
Explore the principles in biomaterials evolution and nano size boundary with quantum effects, design active materials (e.g. temperature-sensitive/self-healing materials) in multi-scales and green techniques to enrich the frontier findings and accelerate product renewing. 

Photo/Electro Catalysis and Sustainable Energy
Drive water decomposition and CO₂ resource conversion to identify their functions in life evolution and contributions to the ecosystem transformation and human fate; manipulate the photons and electrons (with quantum behavior and power) in mass and energy conversion to achieve clean energy storage and carbon neutrality goals. 

 

Digital Fashion and AI Wearables
Integrates virtual clothing design, AR/VR interaction and AI sensing technology to create personalized smart wearable devices with health monitoring, dynamic aesthetics and meta-universe scene adaptation functions.
